200 SERIES METAL ROOF SYSTEM

Product Description

Our 200 Series is the most widely used standing seam metal roof system that we offer. This structural metal roof panel features a 2" tall vertical rib that is mechanically seamed after the roof is installed. The standing seam panel is held to the underlying structure with a 20 gauge sliding clip that allows for up to 2” of thermal expansion.

The 200 Series is by far the most popular standing seam metal roof system in use today because of its superior wind uplift and water infiltration resistance. It comes in 2 versions: the 200SL where the seam is folded 90 degrees in a single lock or the 200DL where the seam is folded 180 degree into a double lock configuration. This metal roof panel was designed to be installed on an open frame and has undergone multitudes of tests for uplift at Underwriters Laboratories as well as uplift tests in accordance with ASTM E-1592, Corps of Engineers, Florida Building Code, International Building Code and Texas Windstorm.
